My God stuff thinkings

It was my delightful 5yr old this time, which burst me into laughter. My older children were discussing whether someone could have an accent without living in another country. I reminded them that our oldest girl (Ember) had always rolled her ‘r’s’ like a Southerner. Ember is determined it is because she was born in the South Island of New Zealand, whereas the rest of her siblings were from the North.

Essence (my youngest girl), in her earnest big-eyed manner, told me her friend Sam at school got in trouble with the teacher because he always ‘rolled his eyes!’

God, I am desperate of discernment! In increasing depravity of mind we all need it.

God, I want to take you up on everything you have to offer me.

I do not want to remain a child in my understanding of You, in case I misread the situation and speak no sense from it – at the humor of everyone else.

As we work on the third quarter of the story, where I lost the plot and made a un-poised dash to get it all out – help me refine the words, simplify the truths, re-characterize the main personalities who lost their identity during my ‘dark age’. Let only You be told. Let all else fall away, please, master editor.

Make Your words shine!!!

Kylie, I would be delighted to have my name as a side character in your next book. I am telling anyone who will listen that they too must read The Book of Told.

For the first time in many years I have found a book that I didn't want to put down. I wanted to just continue reading to find out where the story was going.
