My God stuff thinkings

Real vision…

As in my story, I want to explain something amazing that stills blows my mind with its cleverness. In reading a CNN article about a man who had gone from 2-D vision to 3-D vision my own eyes were opened!!

Did you know that some people are living and driving cars with two dimensional sight just like everyone else? What it means to be 2-D is that the person cannot see the depth of objects unless they move their head around creating something called ‘motion paralax’. These same people (like every one of us apparently) has at some stage of their childhood, had a moment of 3-D vision. Most continue in it or always had it.

For those who haven’t, it means that as a result of an accident, or time of training their eyes to FIX onto an object, this vision can be brought on. Once this vision begins to form, objects start to ‘jump’ out at you like we see them. In other words, the 2-D will no longer live in a form of blindness struggling to see the bird in the tree that to everyone else is obvious – they can now see depth and perspective. They can determine in one glance the distance an object is instead of waiting for movement to define this.

HOW INCREDIBLE!!! God gives us the third spiritual dimension!! Without it we will not see if something is far off or about to hit us in the head because of the flat view our eyes give. It is the ‘life’ breathed into the flat words on a page!

Someone can train their eyes in fixing on Jesus, to eventually ‘see’ his depths. Or, a head knock may be the needed cause. Either way, God has made sure every child has at some stage had the opportunity to view enough for them to want to seek it or not later in adulthood. HIS WISDOMS AND MYSTERIES ARE SOOOOOOO ASTONISHING AND MAKE ME WANT TO SHOUT THEM OUT OR CRY IN AWE AND COVER MY HEAD AT THE INTENSE POWER OF OUR KING. Oh, be God to us.

Kylie, I would be delighted to have my name as a side character in your next book. I am telling anyone who will listen that they too must read The Book of Told.

For the first time in many years I have found a book that I didn't want to put down. I wanted to just continue reading to find out where the story was going.
