My God stuff thinkings

History tells us that war is part of life. War essentially derives from need. Whether the basis of the need is greed determines the right and the wrong party.

Both present time and antiquity, are full of atrocious acts of violence. Syria, Egypt, Kenya, our local hometowns behind closed doors.

Heads are severed, arrows fling, and swords rise to lung into bodies that reject peace talks and compromise. I am trying to say that war is ugly, inevitable, sometimes virtuous, raw, gritty, bloody, painful and full of passion. War is real. The partiers are desperately living, but at least they are living.

The side we stand on in the battle for ‘life’ should be defined by a clear line in our mind. Anyone expanding this line into a no-man’s-land will be an open target for ‘death’.

Soldiers must prepare like athletes. So must good writers. The cost of winning is the discipline it takes to mold oneself fully into a fierce contender. We, as imitators of our Lord, can have no time for distractions that slow us down, because the end is sneaking closer and we cannot be found participating without fight in us – without our own oil.

That is why my determination is to learn all I can about language, and writing.

God has a story in everyone’s life. If my story presentation is preventing my ‘tale from being Told’, then I am up to the challenge.

Let todays last statements be… that anything worth writing about is worth the fight to write it correctly. As we are already disciplined contenders for a great prize… this will be an easy pleasure.

Imagine if God was a sloppy writer in His book of life…

No one should be caught in the no man's land of uncommitted cause.

Kylie, I would be delighted to have my name as a side character in your next book. I am telling anyone who will listen that they too must read The Book of Told.

For the first time in many years I have found a book that I didn't want to put down. I wanted to just continue reading to find out where the story was going.
