My God stuff thinkings

According to Wikipedia the word authority is derived from the Latin word auctoritis, meaning invention, advice, opinion, influence, or command.

I LOVE THIS, because when broken down to the word ‘author’ it spells out God’s plan in writing His story.

He is THE authority. He invented our world. His story’s purpose was to advise us. Our entire existence is His opinion – the only one with the authority to give an opinion. God has used His story setting and structure to influence us. We are, most gratefully, under His command.

Even His words hold incredible power and cleverness. There is no boundary to His talent. I want Him to have free reign over our part in His story; it is too clear what happens to those runaway characters who want to write themselves.

God you are marvelous and unfathomable. Teach me.

In a few days I will receive my last concept review for my story. Then I will be able to write again and get stuck into the final work before the final edit. I am so excited. If no traditional publisher is interested by January then we will send it to Westbow. Again, I am so excited. I then begin Habit’s tale, which is calling to me daily and continue to post though less often.

My editor’s husband has written a very intellectual thesis on fables, allegories, and fairytales, and the importance of their place in the world from a Christian’s view point. He is going to be involved in the concept edit review.

Kylie, I would be delighted to have my name as a side character in your next book. I am telling anyone who will listen that they too must read The Book of Told.

For the first time in many years I have found a book that I didn't want to put down. I wanted to just continue reading to find out where the story was going.
