Stand Against Slavery

Peter Mihaere (NZ Baptist Missions) and CEO of Stand Against Slavery (SAS - a Baptist initiative in NZ) spoke at church today. As I listened to his passion for freeing slaves, and his links to media in NZ, I realised SAS's goal was achievable and where my heart lay!

Goal:  To see New Zealand become the first country in the world to be completely slave free within one generation (20-25 years).

NZ is nuclear-free!

We are on target to be smoke-free by 2025!

We can be slave-free by 2040!!!

Vision is 1% - we must get stuck into the 99% hardwork!
